My oven knew I’d cheated a little on my measurements & BURNT MY LUNCH!!! LOL- I guess that’s a good thing… I did remake it with the RIGHT amount of cheese for the points… and it was still really YUMMY!!
Here’s my menu so far for today!
UPDATE: Don’t have long… 5 am is fast approaching.!! My mom & my 3 sisters & I all LOVE Friendly’s- we only all get to go sit & chat & enjoy our ice cream together once in a while & since Jenalyn will be living in Hawaii very soon, we may not have a chance to go with all 5 of us for a while. So, we went- I ordered my sundae, (but didn’t eat the Recee’s PB cup & saved myself 4.5 pts!) – completely enjoyed it & had a really nice time talking and relaxing with my family. It was well worth the points, & I think having 14 points left is still plenty for cake on Saturday. (It may actually be too much- I honestly had a hard time finishing my sundae tonight- which I would have to say is a first for me! I did… but I’ve NEVER even though about not finishing one like I did tonight! )
Well, I should get to bed. I most likely won’t be posting at all tomorrow or Saturday, but I will keep track & stay OP as much as possible. I’ll be back on Sunday to post pics & update. Have a great weekend everyone!!

I ended up snacking before bed last night…. so I’ve got to balance out my flex points. In my mind as I was falling asleep, I was trying to convince myself to just use the AP’s that I’d earned at Boot Camp, but I said I wasn’t going to use them & I didn’t do horribly with my snacking so I’m just going to pony up & subtract from th flex because that’s what I said I’d do!! (How’s that for a run on sentence??) LOL

Also… I was trying to decide what I wanted to eat, (we’d just finished grocery shopping btw…) and I’m looking at all these snacks I’d bought for the kids… I was really tempted to just eat something “good” (ie.. bad!) and I caved… I got out one of those Little Debbie snacks that I’d bought as a special treat for my kids- 2 chocolate cookies filled with white creme… They looked so good, but I took a bite.. hmmm not as good as I thought they’d be… took a second bite.. still, not what I was looking for- especially for 4.5 points! Normally I would have just eaten it anyway- after all, I wouldn’t want to WASTE FOOD!! And then- after I’d eaten it anyway, I’d still eat and eat until I’d found what “satisfied” me! BUT I THREW IT AWAY!!! Only 2 small bites & I said “NO WAY! YOU TASTE GROSS- I DON’T WANT TO EAT YOU!” (no, I didn’t really talk to the cookies… but it’s a kind of funny mental picture! LOL) I also tried two bites of one of the South Beach Chocolate Peanut Butter granola bars. It was ok, a little dry & the chocolate chips were extra mini & only on the top, not mixed in so you could barely taste the chocolate. I think I’ll be sticking with the Fiber One bars, even though the SB were 1.5 pts instead of 2. So, the granola bar wasn’t cutting the craving & I didn’t finish that either! Instead, I remembered that I had these awesome fruit bars in my freezer- they’re only 1.5 points & taste GREAT!! They taste like real frozen fruit (b/c they are..) instead of frozen red sugar water!! Very yummy & held off cravings the rest of the night!! So, I’ll subtract 2 points from my FP’s for my tastes & final pick.
You may already know about these, but if not, here’s some info off of Edy’s site about their fruit bars. Try them- they’re AWESOME!!
